How can I become captain of my basketball team?

I really want to be the captain of my basketball team. I am definitely one of the bet players out there. How can I convince the rest of my team that I would be a good captain? I would burn pump up CDs, organize events and really help the team. We vote in a couple days. Any tips/ ideas?|||be really encouraging and hustle ur butt off and give some pointers out but be careful how u say it and who u say it too but mainly just say specific things ur teamates did good that day at practice and always be open to new ideas
