What kind of exercising is better than basketball for burning extra calories ?

I cannot practice basketball, baseball, handball or any team sport


I am interested in sports which can be done on your own ( like cycling ) which burn more calories than team sports ! Are there any ?|||use a speed jump rope! about 12 min a day. and a punching bag works no jokee!


This is what i had to do for track.. i had to run 1 lap;10 push ups; 10 sit ups; run 1 lap Backwards; finish half a lap and do 10 push ups and sit ups. but not run backwards and do that 2 more times. but the running backwards was just that one time.... and on your 3rd lap on the half do 24 Lunges. if you dont do it right start over (have someone watch you do it) and then run the rest of the track and your done... the first day i did this i was dieing. but after a while i was okay!!! %26lt;--GOAL:Finish in about 20-25Min! its hard but its worth it!





Another thing is to Sprint a Whole Mile! %26lt;--GOAL:Finish in about 10-14 Min! Keep running dont stop. if you stop its harder to start running. Trustt Me! Tell your self to keep running. Tell your self your goal and you well be able to do it. not kidding worked for me





To Be A "ATHLETE" You Have To Be Able To Run A Mile In About 9 Min!

Just remeber your goal. say to your self.. not only do i want this but i need this and i can do this. i wont stop. ill keep running. ill come back tomorrow and run. you wont see me stop. you wont see me fail. but you will see me achieve my goal. and ill be proud! and ill prove to myself; ill show myself what im able to do! Well When I Had To Do This Work Out. I Had Alot Going For Me It Was Very Important For Me!!! Soo Yeah. Idk How You Really Feel! (Have Someone There To Push You Even Yell At You When Your About To Give Up!!! Really Helps) Have People Cheering For You) (Have Friends Do This With You)|||Water aerobics. Maybe not technically a sport, but it burns a lot of calories because water is 6x more resistant than air. That means every time you move and arm or leg in water you are burning more calories than the same movement on land. You can make it competitive with yourself by timing laps etc.





If you are interested in losing weight, it's more important to find something you enjoy doing and will do consistently than to find the one activity which burns the most calories. Exercise at 60-80% of your Maximum Heart Rate for best weight loss. MHR is 220 - your age.
