How do you increase your range in basketball quickly?

I can sometimes make a three but basketball is just around the corner. I need help developing this. |||Upper body strength has very little to do with it so don't listen to what people are saying most of the time the power for longer distance shots come from your legs although it is helpful to be strong in general for basketball. As far as developing a good three point shot is concerned shoot from where you are comfortable maybe the free throw or elbow take 100 shots from there after that take a couple steps back and keep doing this until you get to behind the arc and feel comfortable shooting a steady shot with a steady form.

The truth of the matter is that there are no shortcuts to getting better at basketball it takes practice - shooting is a lot about muscle memory and when you have a consistent form it becomes second nature to your body to take these kind of shots and make them. I got recruited for college ball mainly because of my outside shooting and what always helped me to be a better shooter is spending time before I play and after I play just shooting over and over. My favorite drill is doing an NBA three-point competition style shooting 5 shots from 5 spots last ball from each spot counts as the money ball for 2 points and it's best out of 30 when you can consistently score 18+ you know you have arrived and the practice has paid off. If you have any more questions about basketball how to get better or questions about specific drills feel free to email me.|||the only way i know to increase my range is to shoot shots that i would probably take during a game and practice those shots over and over and over until i know i can make it over 50% of the time. Then i take someone who knows how to play ball and play one on one against em %26amp; try to knock down those same shots that I practiced earlier. There's no short cuts when it comes to increasing your range, you can only work at it and in time, itll become better.|||You got to have upper arm strength. Flip your wrist and follow through. Jump so you can have a higher percentage of making it in the basket. All you got to do is practice. Practice doesn't make perfects but it sure does help you. Remember nobody is perfect. Concentrate on the shot and your power. you can even make a technique if you have to. Have motivations and competitions.|||Just shoot a lot, try to stay in your range for the most part, but stretch it beyond every once in a while. This way you increase range, might not be that quick, but your form stays intact.|||practice shooting 3 pointers... every chance you get. If you get good at making the 3 point shot. Then you can make if from anywhere.

Around the world from the 3 point line is a good way to start|||practice practice and some more practice... but my advice is work on ur strengths before weakness'... so find a good position for you, maybe forward? and work on handling and close range... and still practice ur threes|||practice?|||work on your arm strength.|||TROUGH OVER YOUR HEAD!

TRY PUTING SOME SPIN IN THE BALL !

|||some muscle would help|||practice and muscle strength

please give me best answer
