How come I can not delete my fantasy basketball league and start a new one up?

I have tried to delet the fantasy basketball league that I created and it the computer will not get rid of it. I am trying to delete this league and start a new one. It is problems like this one that are going to drive me to another sites service.|||you cant once the season starts it is a rule sorry dude|||once the league have started (the draft is over) then you cannot delete your team anymore. if it is not this problem then you should contact the yahoo fantasy sports service and ask them about this situation. email them and it'll only take about a day for them to respond, but you should do so before the draft begins
