What is the typical schedule for a basketball camp?

Could you tell me what the typical schedule for a basketball camp is? Times and activities would be great. Thanks!|||Basketball camps usually begin early in the morning. If it's a sleepaway basketball camp, then it'll probably begin earlier as they don't have to give you time to commute. I would say around 8am for these. If it's a day basketball camp, then they'll probably start around 9am to give you some extra time for commuting. Basketball camps usually last around 5 to 6 hours a day, maybe a little more. What's certain is that the longer it is, the more breaks there will be, so that you don't get too exhausted.

You'll find that pretty much every basketball camp begins with running and calisthenics. This promotes physical capabilities and may or may not be combined with ball dribbling exercises (for example, running while dribbling the ball). After this, there will probably be a short break as you are divided into groups for drills. Drills will consist of shooting, passing, and maybe dribbling. Depending on your age, they may also contain 2 v 1 and 3 v 1 fast break drills, 1 v 1 layup drills, and more complicated dribbling sequences (combining cross-overs, between-the-legs, behind the back, and so forth). This is usually for kids age 13 and up.

After the drills it's probably lunch time. After your lunch hour, there will most likely be either games or real games. Games as in competitions such as HORSE, hot shot, 1 v 1, etc. You get the point. Real games on the other hand, are exactly what they sound like. You get grouped into teams and you play competitively against each other. There will be coaches analyzing your performance and giving pointers, advice, and instruction. After all of these: warmup calisthenics, drills, competitions, and games, the day is probably over.
