How long should you rest after basketball season?

The end to high school basketball season will be coming up soon. So, how long should you let your body recover after basketball season before training and working out for the next basketball season?|||a week|||really u should never rest. once you rest u will not want to go back out to practice. practice as much as you can in the offseason to stay in shape. but dont work so hard to the point you cant function properly. you should take one day off a week. dont be lazy during your workout either. try to do the drills you did during basketball season everyday that way when next season comes around you will ahead of everyone else. :)|||ha until it dosent feel like your body weights 20 tons and is about to give out on you..|||about one to to days id say becuase when u get rested to much ur mucles will be tight and stiff
