Why is David Stern more concerned with basketball in China and India than focusing on the USA?

The NBA wants to make basketball the no. 2 sport in India within a few years?





Come on people, this is disgusting. David Stern needs to focus on improving the quality of NBA play before whoring basketball out overseas. I think Jordan already did so much to promote basketball overseas, there's not much more you can do. This dude is so greedy it isn't funny.|||With ratings down and a lackluster NBA finals David stern is lookin for anyway to make money|||Not really. the object of all sports is to make money and have great games. the USA is already tapped out because you either like it or you don't. india is not used to basketball so introducing it over their to that population will increase the money by a lot. china is on its way because they buy a lot of jerseys and actually pay attention.|||China and India represent a third of the worlds population. There's a huge market there. The NBA's a business. They go to where the money is too.|||Because the USA already has Elite Players, Stern obviously wants players from around the World to play in his league.





Yes STern is also hungry for Profits.|||I don't think it's disgusting at all. Stern is promoting the NBA around the world by doing this.
