I play basketball everyday for hours just practicing and playing. But today I started officially working out with my trainer and myself 3 days a week. First off as a sophomore in high school I am in great shape and very tall. Is 3 days a week good enough for the strengh and ability I have to be in for basketball? And should I play basketball first or workout first cause i found that after i worked out today i was dead and couldnt play and my shot was horrible. Strength trainning should come first before ball because it gives you many advantages. You should work out with weights at least 4-5 times a week. Do about 3-4 sets of about 6- 8 reps for maximum strength. Try to gain a good amount of muscle because it will be very useful in backing your opponents down and getting in position for a rebound.|||play play play
