How should I properly condition for basketball that starts in 3 weeks?

I've spent about 15-30 minutes on the elliptical machine I have at my house, I've been eating better, and I've been playing basketball outside for a few hours with a couple friends. I'm 14. Do you think this is enough to condition myself?|||Yes and no it depend on how good you want to be I like that you want to get better but it starts by knowing the player you want to be. Working on athleticism is nice but fundamentals are an asset that you can never lose try practicing on free throws, dribbling, passing the ball, post up moves, little things like having your elbow face the rim when you shoot I like that you are trying in shape but if you want to get better you have to practice better try to always do one more push-up than you did the last time or 10 Min's more outside playing with your friends.Always remember though that rest if just as important as work so continue to hang out with friends or whatever you do and above all just have fun|||work on your shooting form , start to drive in strong (if u dont already) on your friends also drive in with agression because coaches look out for aggressive players because they know they will get better.


also challenge yourself and when u do drills go as hard and fast as you can because when it comes to a game its easy





also try running to build up your stamina.|||Lift some weights while you're at it. Good luck for basketball tryouts (At least I think you're talking about basketball tryouts. LOL)
