Is there an alternate way to fix an outdoor basketball court without buying professional equipment?

Ok, so I am a volunteer basketball coach and I want to know if there is a easier way out there to repaint basketball lines without spending hundreds, maybe even thousands of dollars? The things that need repair is the court, which has a few patches and the lines need to be re painted. I looked online and professional line painting supplies can cost in the few hundred. Is there a easier way around it? Altogether my budget is around $200. Any suggestions? Thanks. :)|||Tape off areas where the lines go (so they'll be straight) or, to use less tape, tape down strips of cardboard. Then use exterior house paint and a short roller on a pole. The paint itself will be the most expensive thing but should be less than $100.

What do you mean by patches, like there's potholes in the blacktop? Not sure about that, maybe ask at a hardware store. Pretty sure you need tar to fix that properly but there could be another solution.
